Available topics

The topics listed below are currently available as student's projects. As topics cannot be assigned twice the rule of thumb is "first come, first serve" with application for first meeting via e-mail to the supervisor or at the office during office hours. Individual focus and details of each topic vary depending on last research results, therefore get discussed in the first meeting with the supervisor always. The topics' titles are to be understood as inspiration - if you are excited about an idea which is related to one of the topics and not yet listed just visit the supervisor during office hours.

A good starting point for projects and thesis is by reading the how to get your thesis topic started guideline. Although usage of English is advised for given topics using German is possible too (except for topics supervised by non German speaking people).
